    As a yung man,Erik started t climb muntains.He reached the summit f Munt McKinley when he was 27,and then climbed the dangerus 1,000-metre rck wall f EI Capitan.Tw years later,while climbing Munt Kilimanjar in Kenya with his girlfriend,they stpped fr a time at 13,000 feet abve sea level—in rder t get married.After tw years he climbed Acncagua,the tallest muntain in Suth America.And then,at the age f 33,Erik successfully cmpleted the greatest muntaineering challenge f all.He climbed Munt Qmlangma,the highest muntain in the wrld.
