“With mre than 70% f the Earth’s surface cvered by water, mst f the planet’s habitats are aquatic, and there is a miscnceptin that mst aquatic rganisms are silent. The newly published cmprehensive digital database n what animals are knwn t make sunds is the first f its kind and can revlutinize marine and aquatic science,” the researchers said.
