My interest in bdy language began with a prfessr f mine at university. Actually, when smene tells a lie, the persn’s bld rushes t the nse and the extra bld makes it itchy (发痒的). This little example f nn-verbal cmmunicatin inspired me t becme a bdy language expert. My wrking life gives me a great deal f satisfactin. I feel that I’m prviding a public service, but it is a service that has had its dwnside. Whenever I meet smene new and I tell them what I d fr a living, they immediately put their guard up and they’re n lnger relaxed. They quite literally freeze in the attempt t hide all the signals that they think I’m reading. It makes life difficult at times, but I cnsider it a small price t pay fr a jb I enjy s much.
