    Listening t favrite sngs culd help peple feel less pain, accrding t a new study that appeared in Frntiers in Pain Research last Octber. And the mst helpful sngs were fund t be sad nes describing bittersweet (苦乐参半的) and mving experiences.
    The study invited 63 yung adults t bring tw f their favrite sngs. The researchers als prvided seven relaxing sngs and asked the participants (参与者) t chse ne frm them.
    Each participant was asked t stare at a screen fr 7 minutes while listening t their favrite sngs, ne f the seven relaxing sngs, r a mixed versin f their favrite sngs and the relaxing sng they chse (they were cut int pieces and then mixed up tgether).     After interviewing the participants abut the sngs and their degrees f pain, the researchers fund peple felt less pain when listening t their favrite sngs cmpared with hearing the relaxing sng r nthing. The mixed sngs didn’t wrk either. And peple wh listened t sad sngs felt less pain than thse listened t cheerful sngs.
