Stry A Death f a Village
D Chuc is a 48yearld① Vietnamese farmer whse tw daughters and an aunt were killed by American sldiers in My Lai that day[1]. 我们当时在前线,圣诞节那天早晨,我们竖起了一块牌子,上面写着“圣诞节快乐”。敌方也竖起了一块类似的牌子。我们的两个人作为代表,扔掉装备,双手举过头顶从战壕中爬出来。两个德国人也这样做了。他们互相问候、握手。然后所有人都走出了战壕。比尔(我们的军官)想阻止,但是已经太晚了,因此他和其他军官也爬出了战壕。我们和德国人一起走过了泥地,在不属于任何一方的中间地带会面。
