①抓住四个“W”和一个“H”,就是边读边用铅笔做些标记,把What (事件),When(时间),Where(地点),Why(原因),Hw(经过)划出来。
(T find ut the main idea)
找主题句, 应先通读全文,理解大意,充分理解主题句的意义。主题句一般具有以下特征:概括全段思想;一般位于段首、段尾或位于段中;
(1) The main idea f the passage is…….
(2) This passage is mainly abut…….
(3) The authr’s purpse in writing this text is…….
(4) Which f the fllwing is the best title fr the passage?
(5) What’s the tpic f the text?
典例:

C.Many parents can’t understand why their kids dn’t like studying.
2.What is the passage abut?
A.Repairing ld cmputers.
B.Selling ld cmputers.
C.Recycling ld cmputers.
Which f the fllwing is True/Nt True?
In the passage, which f the fllwing is mentined?
All f the fllwing statements are true except…
Chse the right rder f the events given in the passage. Where, hw, wh, why, hw lng
1. Which f the fllwing is NOT true?
A. My brthers, my sisters and I wuld smetimes fight abut which channel t watch when I was a child.
B. These days, there is nly ne channel with ld mvies, cking and fishing.
C. Peple have many channels t chse frm nw.
3、猜测词义题( T guess the meaning)
①通过因果关系猜测词义;
有时文章借助关联词(如because, as, since, fr, s, thus, as a result, f curse, therefre等)表示前因后果。
Eg: Yu shuldn’t have blame him fr that, fr it wasn’t his fault.
②通过同义词和近、反义词的关系猜词;
Man was knwing smething abut the planets Venus, Mars, and Jupiter with the help f spaceships.
He is s hmely, nt at all as handsme as his brther.
③通过构词法猜测词义;
④通过定义或释义说明来推测词义;
Eg: But smetimes, n rain falls fr a lng lng time. Then there is a dry perid, r drught. 这种同义或释义关系常为:is, r, that is, in ther wrds, be called或破折号等来表示。
⑤通过描述猜测词义;
⑥用知识和生活经验猜测词义;
(1)The wrd “…” in the passage prbably means_________.
(2)What des the wrd “…”mean_________.
(3)The underlined(划线的) wrd means_________.
(4)The clse meaning f the underlined wrd“…”is _________in English .
(5)The wrd “…”refers t _________.
典例:
1.In the 2nd paragraph, the clse meaning f the underlined wrd“teased”is _________ in English .
A. hit B. criticized C. laughed at
4.推理判断题( T infer a cnclusin)
(1)We can infer frm the passage that _______.
(2)The writer suggest that _______.
(3)Frm the passage, we can learn that _______.
(4)We may cnclude frm the passage that _______.
(5)Frm the passage, it can be inferred that _______.
典例:

A. It’s easy fr many teenagers t give up blgging n the Internet.
B. It’s safe fr many teenagers t put their persnal infrmatin n the Internet.
C. It’s ppular fr many teenagers t use blgs n the Internet.

In the writer’s pinin, a gd schl shuld ……
What shuld be the right attitude twards “…”?
The writer’s attitude tward “…” is ……
