Humans are still very gd at slving letter-string prblems. But LLMs usually fail. They are nt able t generalize’ the cncepts (概念) used n an alphabet they knw t anther alphabet.
“Being dependable and ding the right thing in a new situatin is the central part f what understanding actually means,” Mitchell says. Human understanding, she says, is based n “cncepts” — basically mental mdels f things like situatins and events.
前文“That feeling needs t g extinct as sn as pssible as math is a pillar (支柱) f educatin. Beynd numbers, math pushes kids t think critically and becme prblem slvers. 因此D项“But hw d we help kids build math cnfidence (但是我们如何帮助孩子建立对数学的信心呢)”符合语境,承上启下。故选D。
前文“When yu hear the wrd “math” cme up, put n a wide smile n yur face. Our kids feed ff ur energy. Let’s be clear, we aren’t trying t make math cl. (对于那些数学不好的人来说更是如此)”进一步指出这样做的用处,空处应该首先指出这样做的用处,因此G项“Instead, we are trying t make math a psitive part f a child’s educatin (相反,我们正在努力使数学成为孩子教育中积极的一部分)”符合语境,承上启下,其中的psitive和前文的smile呼应。故选G。
本段小标题“Integrate (融合) math int daily life (将数学融入日常生活)”建议把数学融入日常生活,后文“Yu can d this at hme, during grcery shpping r even at a restaurant.
Math helps them keep track f their perfrmance and imprve. Figure ut a way t take the current math they are wrking n in schl and then apply it t smething they like. This may take sme hmewrk n yur part, but it will pay ff in n time!
前文“With advancement in technlgy, math games have becme designed t teach entire lessns and cncepts rather than simple prblems like the games f days past.
