    I was never addicted t skydiving, like many jumpers are, but I definitely enjyed it. I made my first skydive when I was barely 19 years ld. I had been selected t attend the US Air Frce Academy’s Freefall schl. I was ne f a select few wh gt t attend the curse. It wasn’t intended t make us peratinal paratrpers (作战伞兵), but mre s t teach us abut accmplishing missins in high-stress situatins.     When I returned t Clumbus, Ohi fr my secnd year f cllege, I wre my basic parachutist badge (徽章) n purpse because at that time, few students culd get it. I lked up the Ohi State Skydiving Club. Abut a mnth later, I made my first private skydive and the rest was histry. I jumped mre and mre, nly paying fr the jumps and necessary training when I had the funds t d it.
    Eventually, I made 10 skydives, and then it was 20, and I fund that I was making jumps at different drp znes. I even bught my wn parachute system.
    I kept jumping n varius weekends during my senir year. The last jump I made, hwever, was in the fall f 2006. I was tld that I had a disease which prevented me frm skydiving.
    My skydiving career ended with 55 jumps, with mre than 40 minutes f freefall time. I met great peple alng the way and did sme pretty crazy jumps.
