In the free game, healthy fd always appears in green circles and unhealthy fd always cmes in red circles. Sme ther everyday bjects, such as pencils and sweaters, appear randmly (随机地) in the green r red circles. Once a user taps n (点击) an bject in the green circle, he r she gets a pint. But tapping n an bject in the red circle gets a pint deducted (扣除).
Des this simple game wrk well? The develpers f the app made a study. They invited mre than 1,200 vlunteers t play the game nce a day. After a mnth, the vlunteers reprted changes in their diet and weight. Mst f them said they had started eating mre healthy fd. Sme vlunteers used t eat junk fd tw t fur times a week. At the end f the study, they had reduced this t nce a week. Mst vlunteers lst mre than half a kilgram f weight.
The app wrks very well. Thrugh practice, the game trains users' brains t "put the brakes (刹车) n" when they see junk fd. The users prbably say n t unhealthy fd in their daily lives!
