读后续写要求“语言要模仿,内容要创造”。所以针对这个题型,解题需要分为两个步骤。第一是读:读懂要素和主题,读通情节和感情发展并读精、读深;第二步就是续写:首先要关注衔接,其次要关注构思。
现有考查的续写文本为记叙文。基于文本特点,续写的内容的丰富性取决于情节的发展。因此,要基于读前文,进行合理的预测,进而发展为续写的内容。但是不管情节如何一波三折,从开头到结尾,情节的发展一定紧紧围绕主题进行。情节必须为主题服务,与主题无关的情节就是多余的。所以,可以按照每段三个层次,构思每一段的情节。
[典题示例] 阅读下面的材料,完成以下任务。 Chit Shedden was a simple fisherman and tur guide frm Siquirres, Limn Prvince, Csta Rica. He had a brad range f interesting facts abut nature, which helped his business quite a bit.
The year was 1989 and Chit was walking alng the banks f the Reventazón River when he happened upn smething very strange. There was a dying male crcdile (鳄鱼). When he stepped up t carefully examine the skinny reptile, he realized it had been sht thrugh the head and then left eyes.
He knew, dangerus as it was, he culdn't leave the pr animal there, alne and helpless. Chit acted quickly, calling fr the help f several brave friends t lad the heavy reptile int his bat. He knew if he culd heal it, he wuld then send it back int the wild. He named the huge reptile “Pch”, which meant strength and began t care fr him in his wn backyard.
The kind and helpful fisherman started t heal Pch with medicine, fd, and mre imprtantly, lts f care and attentins. Chit fed the crcdile a steady diet f chicken and fish. He bught medicine t prevent infectin (感染) and even slept by its side at night.
Affectin was ne f the mst imprtant factrs. Chit gave it kisses and hugs. He talked t it and petted it.“The crcdile needed my lve t regain the will t live,” he said. In time, Pch imprved enugh and returned t nrmal health. It was time fr it t return t its wn river in the wild. Chit and his friend laded the crcdile back int his bat and set it free in a nearby river. The tw parted ways and Chit returned hme alne. 注意:续写词数应为150左右。

The mnth passed rapidly, and sn I began wrking at a leading hspital in Karachi. The experience culdn't have been mre different. The hspital had an intense envirnment. The days started early (at 7 am, cmpared t 9 am at the bank), and were filled with endless duties. And the night calls! This was crazy, wrking all day, thrugh the night, and again the next day.
I began thinking abut my tw experiences. The bank had ffered a mre relaxing atmsphere, better wrking hurs and less stress. The hspital was full f excitement and unpredictability, but the studying and training were difficult. It seemed that the business ptin was ging t win ut.
Near the end f my mnth at the hspital, I was driving hme after an especially busy night call. In frnt f me was a public bus, with cllege students sitting n the tp. As the driver weaved thrugh (穿梭) traffic, I culd see the bys shaking frm side t side. 注意:续写词数应为150左右。
