The simple past tense
When we want t talk abut things in the past we use
1. 表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。2. 表示过去经常或反复发生的动作

1. 一般在动词原形末尾加-ed

3. 一般过去时的否定句和一般疑问句的构成否定句：主语 + did + nt + 动词原形 + …We heard a whisper. We did nt / didn’t hear a whisper.疑问句：Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + …?Did yu hear a whisper?Yes, we did. / N, we didn’t.

Simple past tense f the verb ‘t be’
否定句：主语 + was nt (wasn’t) / were nt (weren’t) + …疑问句：Was / Were + 主语 + ……?Yes, 主语 + was / were.N, 主语 + was nt (wasn’t) / were nt (weren’t).
