Students can listen, speak and read these new wrds, such as man, wman, father, mther, mm, dad.
2. Ability aims:
Learn and use the key sentences, “Wh’s that man / wman? He/she ”
Emtinal aims:
The students shuld knw that their father and mther are hard-wrking and lve him/her. The students can lve their family members.

The students can read and understand these wrds, “father (dad), mther (mm), grandfather (grandpa), grandmther (grandma), man, wman”.
The Teaching Difficult Pints:
A. The students can prnunce the wrd, “father, mther” crrectly.
B. The students can understand the different meaning f these tw wrds, “man and wman.”
C. The students can learn and use the main sentences in ur daily life.

Step 1: Warm up –Lead in
Free talk
Sing a sng, “The Family Fingers” .All students stand up and sing it tgether, and then the teacher praises them.
T: Ww, yu’re s wnderful, d yu like yur daddy and mummy?
Ss:
T: Yes, what’s this? This is my family pht. And this is my daddy, and this is my mummy. I lve them t.
T: We are in a family. S, tday we will learn this unit.
Step 2: Presentatin and Practice.
T: shws her family phts and ask students, “Wh is this girl?”
Ss: She is ……..
T: Yes, this is me. And this is my daddy. Daddy is father. The teacher shws the picture f father and mther, and by the family pht, she teaches anther tw wrds, “man, wman,” then ask “wh is that man /wman? And he is my father, and she is my mther (mum), put up the card n the blackbard.
T: shws the wrd cards. The students fllw it and read tgether. And then let students put the cards n the blackbard.
T: There are 6 peple in my family pht. D yu knw wh are they? Let students guess and read these wrds: grandfather, grandmther, brther and sister. And then frm a family tree.
Practice:
Game 1: Turn arund
The teacher asks the leaders f each grup t put the cards behind the back in the stage. The student f the grup turns arund and the ther grup guesses what it is. At last, the teacher adds the pints t each grup.
Game 2: Pass the card
The teacher passes the card ne by ne. Students stand up and pat it, reading the wrds.

Step 3: Prductin/ Cnslidatin
Let’s learn next part, “let’s chant,” and review the imprtant sentences , “Wh’s this/that man/wman?
