    该结构中it是形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式短语。
    (1) It’s +adj.+ fr sb.+ t d sth.“做某事对某人来说是……的”,强调对客观情况的描述。

    (2) It’s +adj.+ f sb.+ t d sth. “某人做某事是……的”,强调对人的性格、 品行的评价。

    patient /'peɪʃ(ə)nt / adj.有耐心的 n.病人
    (1)patient在此处作形容词,意为“有耐心的“,其名词形式为patience。be patient with sb.意为对某人有耐心,be patient t d sth.意为做某事有耐心。

    (2)patient还可作可数名词,意为”病人”。

    s…that…表示“如此……以至于……”,其中s为副词,修饰形容词或副词,that引导结果状语从句,常见结构有:

    (1)fall in lve with后可接sb.或sth.,表示动作,不可与时间段连用。

    a piece f cake和serve sb.right 都是英语的习惯用语,也可称作习语( idim) ,类似于汉语的成语。习语是人们在长期的语言运用中确定或形成的一种固定表达方式,所表达的意思不能从字面上去理解。

    It serves yu right.你活该。
    Practice makes perfect.熟能生巧。

    s that引导的目的状语从句
    (1)本句中,s that意为“以便,为了”,常用来引导目的状语从句,从句中常有can, culd, shuld等情态动词。可与in rder that互换。

    = He gt up early this mrning in rder that he culd catch the early bus.
    (2)s that 意为“因此,所以”,引导结果状语从句,此时从句中一般不含can, culd 等情态动词。
    Li Lei studied hard, s that he passed the exam.

    “疑问词 +动词不定式” 结构
    本句中“hw t increase my reading speed”为“疑问词+动词不定式”结构,在句中作knw的宾语。疑问代词wh、what、which 等和疑问副词when、where、hw等后面跟不定式,构成“疑问词+动词不定式”结构。这种结构在句中可作主语、宾语、表语等,作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。

    动词不定式 (短语)作后置定语:
    动词不定式(短语)作定语修饰名词或代词时,通常放在所修饰词的后面,一般与所修饰词存在逻辑上的动宾关系。
    如果不定式中的动词是不及物动词,或者不定式所修饰的名词或代词是不定式中动作发生的地点或借助的工具等,不定式后要用适当的介词,并且介词不能省略。
