    M: Hi, everyne. Tday’s debate tpic is, “Shuld philsphy lessns be ffered in every high schl?” In preparing fr my speech, I surveyed sme f my cllege classmates and listened t their pinins. Nt many had attended philsphy classes at any pint in their educatin. Of the few that had, mst were privately educated. I asked thse wh had nt studied philsphy if they felt they had missed ut. Sme said yes, but many thers gave replies such as, “Philsphy isn’t very helpful in real life, is it?” Well, I disagree. It’s true that a philsphy degree wn’t lead directly t a specific career, as a degree in law r engineering can d.
