1．了解读后续写的解题方法与技巧。
2．进行读后续写真题训练。
读后续写的阅读材料一般以350词以内的记叙文和夹叙夹议文为主，偶有少量议论文。考生要在此文的后面续写约150词左右的文字与前文构成一个完整的故事。要求考生续写的部分多是故事发展的高潮或结局。情节曲折跌宕，线索性和逻辑性较强。读后续写不是随心所欲地写，而是要在所给段落开头和所标出关键词的帮助下完成续写部分。其中，段落开头语与传统写作中的开头语类似，在某种程度上引导你的思路向某个方面发展，所续写部分不能脱离各自的段落开头语另起炉灶，要在其基础上进行拓展发挥。
读后续写要求读写并重，续写部分不偏离主题，续写部分的思路和内容并不一定是唯一的，考生可根据自己对上文材料的理解，对文章的结尾做出不同的诠释。浙江省作为高考综合改革的试点省份，从2016年10月份开始，正式启动外语科目一年两考试，其中英语学科高考书面表达部分除应用文写作外，首次引入了读后续写和概要写作两种新的写作题型，并在不同考试中不定期交替使用。浙江卷中读后续写题型与全国新高考I卷中读后续写不之处在于，浙江卷中读后续写有给出10个画线关键词语，要求考生在写作时至少使用其中5个。题材内容贴近生活，关注社会热点，与中学生的学习、生活密切相关。从试题结构看，读后续写评价的是书面理解能力和书面表达能。因此，在写作之前，首先读懂文本，理清故事情节，然后构思故事的发展和结局。
解题技巧
（1）精读所给语言材料，理清文章脉络，明确作者的写作思路，理解文章大意。
（2）寻求前文与续写段段首句之间的内在联系，站在作者的角度，设计并发展情节，前后时态保持一致，想象要合理，情节要连贯，并且注意前后文的续写要保持一致。
（3）后续情节一般为故事的高潮，是原作者声音的延续，因此要尽量符合原文的思路。
（4）续写内容要积极健康向上，展现事物美好的一面。
（5）平时多积累英语常用句型和地道表达，不要自己生硬的造句。以精悍短小的句子为主，长短句结合使用。短句多使用非谓语动词，介词短语和省略。长句多使用强调句型，定语从句等。
具体语言技巧总结如下:
（1）在语言技巧上，对话除了用say,ask 引出外，还可用以下词语。请具体语境如下

(2) 适当使用with/withut这个介词。

= 4 \* GB3 ④With a bk in his arm, he left the rm.

(3) 适当使用非谓语动词。

= 3 \* GB3 ③“May I ask why?” I asked, surprised.
（4）使用副词： 此类词可以放在句首，句尾或句中，修饰动作。
= 1 \* GB3 ①He gave her the child t hld. Lvingly, she kissed the baby n its frehead with her cld white lips, then stared wildly arund the rm, fell back—and died.
= 2 \* GB3 ②His mther was sleeping when he wke up. Jyfully, he slid ut f the rm.
（5）使用形容词短语：形容词短语如果中规中矩的使用，也会失去色彩，以下列举的形容词短语可以去掉be动词直接放到句首或句尾，用逗号与主句隔开，起到强调作用，烘托出主人公的心理活动及变化，对主语做重要的补充。
