表示______某个时刻正在进行、正在发生的动作或某一时段持续存在的动作或状态。

一、表示过去某一时刻或某一时期内_______进行的动作。

三、 when 与 while 引导的时间状语从句中
当主句动作发生于从句动作_______，且进行时间较长，主句用过去进行时。

当_______的动作发生于主句的动作之前，且进行时间较长，从句用过去进行时。

当主、从句的动作不存在先后关系或无所谓先后，且动作均为“长动作”，则均使用过去进行时，通常使用_______ 来引导从句。
