The tpic, ding a milk shake, is clsely related t students’ life, therefre, it can imprve students’ s interests and it will nt be difficult t use these verbs and express a prcess.

    Students are in grade 8. They have learned sme fruits, such as banana, apple, pear, ect. and sme wrds, such as eat, clean, take and s n. S they can structure sme easy verbs and nuns. Hwever, they are als difficult t understand these verb phrases, what’s mre, they are shy t shw themselves in frnt f the class. S, teachers need t train them t imprve their spke skills and the ability f describing their a prcess.

    Ask students if they like eating fruit and what kind f fruit they like. Then shw real ingredients t make a banana milkshake.
    Step 3: Pre-listening
    Task 1: Talk abut what ingredients we need. (Bananas, milk and ice-cream.)
    Task 2: Talk abut what tls we need. (A blender, a knife, a glass and a spn.)
    Task 3: Learn the prcess f making a banana milk shake, and act ut the actins f “peel, cut up, put…in, turn n, pur…int, drink”. Then let a pair f students d it. Then retell the steps f hw t make it.
    Step4: While-listening
    Task 4: Play the tape, listen and put the instructins in rder.
