If talking near a busy rad is tugh, think hw hard it is t raise a baby bird in that place. Anew experiment n grwing birds shws traffic nise has a negative influence n their grwth and leads t lifelng harm.
Researchers already knew t much nise can disturb breeding birds, making it mre difficult fr parents t cmmunicate with and care fr their nestlings. But it wasn't clear whether the nise itself culd directly harm yung birds.
