Unit 1 AsiaIntegrated skills & Study skills设计说明Integrated skills部分通过给学生展示一些有关日本的图片,引导学生自由谈论,导入新课。通过引导学生用英语描述自己印象中的日本,为下文的听读做好铺垫。A1部分通过地理知识推测目的地和有可能的行程,降低部分听力内容的难度;在A2部分就已知信息推测听力材料有可能出现的内容,让学生进行适当预测,并向学生渗透听写技巧,减轻学生的心理负担,有效提高听力。Speak up环节相对容易,让学生听对话,了解新加坡的基本信息,为下面的话题展开做好铺垫。通过跟读模仿等活动,激发学生对英语语音语调的重视。然后通过提问导入Study skills,激发学生对于身体语言相关知识的学习兴趣,再通过展示,让学生了解身体语言并完成相应练习。教学目标通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标掌握词汇:Japanese, state2.能力目标(1)从旅行日程表中提取信息,完成有关日本之行的笔记;(2)从录音材料中提取和加工信息,补全一篇关于在日本旅行的文章;(3)谈论不同的亚洲国家;(4)学习一些肢体语言在不同文化中的不同含义。3.情感目标开阔学生眼界,培养学生跨文化交际能力。重点难点1.重点:在听力材料中抓住关键词。2.难点:计划安排或描述一次去某地的旅行。教学准备PPT课件;相关图片;Integrated skills中活动A1,A2,B部分的录音授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1 Lead-inAsk students to have a free talk to say something about Japan.A: What do you think of Japan when you talk about it? B: Japan is famous for hot springs, sushi, sakura and so on. A: Then what places of interest in Japan do you know?B: Mount Fuji, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo National Museum and so on.A: Wow, you know a lot about Japan. It’s really a nice place to visit. The exchange students are going to Japan after visiting Shanghai. Step 2 Reading A trip to Japan1. Ask students to read the students’ itinerary of the trip. Then answer some questions.(1) How long will the exchange students stay in Japan?(2) Where will the exchange students go? (3) Where may they go first according to the map? Answers: (1) Four days.
