1.定义
序数词表示顺序先后，如first, secnd, third等。
拼写规律
1)一般来说，序数词是由基数词变化而来，大多在基数词词尾加上“th”，例如：
fur（四） - furth（第四）
five（五）- fifth （第五）（注意不要写作fiveth，ve需变为f）
six（六） - sixth（第六）
seven（七） - seventh（第七）
eight（八）-eighth（第八）（注意不要写作eightth，两个t只写一个）
nine（九）- ninth（第九）（注意不要写作nineth，需要去掉e）
ten（十） - tenth（第十）
eleven（十一）- eleventh（第十一）
twelve（十二）- twelfth（第十二）（注意不要写作twelveth，ve需变为f）
2)特殊变化：
以“y”结尾的基数词，变“y”为“i”再加“eth”，例如：
twenty（二十） - twentieth（第二十）
thirty（三十） - thirtieth（第三十）
frty（四十）- frtieth（第四十）
fifty（五十）- fiftieth（第五十）
特殊的几个词：
ne（一） - first（第一）
tw（二） - secnd（第二）
three（三） - third（第三）
3)整十的基数词变序数词时，把词尾的“y”变为“ie”，再加“th”，例如：
twenty（二十） - twentieth（第二十）
thirty（三十） - thirtieth（第三十）
4)几十几的序数词，只把个位数变成序数词，十位数不变，例如：
twenty-ne（二十一） - twenty-first（第二十一）
thirty-tw（三十二） - thirty-secnd（第三十二）
frty-three（四十三）- frty-third（第四十三）
2.用法
1) 序数词前面一般要加定冠词the，例如：
The first student t cme t schl is usually Xiaming.第一个到校的学生通常是小明。
2) 序数词前面有名词所有格、形容词性物主代词时，不再使用the，例如：
Miss Wang is my first English teacher.王老师是我的第一位英语老师。
3) 序数词前也可以使用a或an，表示“又一，再一”的意思，例如：
They have tw children, and next year they will have a third child.他们有两个孩子，明年他们将再有第三个孩子。
4) 序数词常用于表示日期、名次、分数等，例如：
July 7th / the 7th f July 7月7日
He was secnd in the exam.他在考试中得了第二名。
总结
1-3：需要特殊记忆，first, secnd, third。
4-19：由基数词加后缀-th构成，如furth, fifth, sixth等（注意fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth的拼写变化）。
20及以上：先将基数词的词尾-ty变为-ti，再加eth，如twentieth（第二十），thirtieth（第三十）。若包含个位数，则十位数用基数词，个位数用序数词，如twenty-first（第二十一）。

二、分数词
【定义与表达方式】
定义：分数词用于表示整体被分成的部分与整体的比例关系。
结构：分数词由基数词（代表分子）和序数词（代表分母）组合而成，具体规则如下：
常用表达方式：
1.“基数词 + 序数词”。
分子使用基数词表示。分母使用序数词表示，但当分子大于1时，分母需要加复数后缀“-s”。
例如：1/4（ne furth）、2/3（tw-thirds）、5/12（five twelfths）。
2.“分子 + ut f + 分母”。
例如：3/7 （three ut f seven）
其他表达方式：
1.“分子 + ver/in + 分母”。
例如：3/7 （three in seven/three ver seven）、3/4 （three in fur/three ver fur）
2.百分数
将分数化为最简后，分子除以分母，结果乘以 100 并加上“%”。
比如1/4”化为百分数是 25% ，“5/8”约为 62.5% 。
特殊表达：
1/2 可以读作“(ne) a half”或“half”。
1/4 和 3/4 有时也会用“a (ne) quarter”和“three quarters”来表示。
带分数：
带分数由整数部分和分数部分组成，中间用“and”连接。例如：“Tw and a quarter ”（二又四分之一）。

三、倍数
英语中的倍数表达法有多种。具体如下：
（一）常用表达
1. A+be+as + 形容词原级 + as + B A与B一样（大/高/多）...
我和你一样高。I am as tall as yu.
他和你一样聪明。He is as clever as yu.
猫和狗一样可爱 Cats are as cute as dgs.
2. A+be+倍数 + as + 形容词原级 + as + B A是B的几倍（大/高/多）...
这个房间是那个房间的三倍大。This rm is three times as big as that ne.
这根绳子是那根绳子的两倍长。This rpe is twice (tw times) as lng as that ne.
3.A+be+倍数+形容词比较级+than+B A比B（大/高/多）几倍
这个房间比那个房间大两倍。This rm is tw times bigger than that ne.
这根绳子比那根绳子长五倍。This rpe is five times lnger than that ne.
（二）其他表达
1.A+be+倍数+the size/height/length/width.etc.+ f + B
这个房间是那个房间的三倍大。This rm is three times the size f that ne.
这根绳子比那根绳子长五倍。This rpe is six times the length f that ne.
2.the size/height/length/width.etc.+ f + A + be +倍数 + that + f + B
房间A是房间B的三倍大。The size f rm A is three times that (=the size) f rm B.
红绳子比绿绳子长五倍。The length f the red rpe is six times that (=the length) f the green rpe.
3.主语+be+倍数+what从句
这个数字是去年的三倍。This number is three times what it was last year.
苹果的价格是过去的两倍。The price f apples is twice what it used t be.
4.A+be+倍数+mre+名词+than+B
这本书的页数比那本多三倍。This bk has three times mre pages than that ne.
这个袋子能装的东西比那个袋子多三倍。This bag can hld three times mre things than that ne.
