A carbn ftprint is the ttal amunt f greenhuse gases (including carbn dixide and methane (沼气)) that are generated by ur actins.
The average carbn ftprint fr a persn in the United States is 16 tns, ne f the highest rates in the wrld. Glbally, the average is clser t 4 tns. T have the best chance f aviding a 2℃ rise in glbal temperatures, the average glbal carbn ftprint per year needs t drp under 2 tns by 2050.

In particular, methane is a big prblem when it cmes t cattle raising. Yu dn’t have t stp eating beef entirely, but cnsider saving it fr special ccasins. When yu d eat beef, make sure that it is free-range and grass-fed, as this has bth lwer emissins and is better fr the animal.
