What is ecsystem?
An ecsystem is a gegraphic area where plants, animals, and ther rganisms, as well as weather and landscapes, wrk tgether t frm a bubble f life. When we are talking abut the ecsystem, mst f us wuld nly think abut animals and plants. But the truth is ur daily activities are playing a vital (极其重要的) rle in nature just like everything else.

The Aral Sea lies between Uzbekistan (t the suth) and Kazakhstan (t the nrth). Once the furth largest lake in the wrld, the Aral Sea is nw less than half f its riginal size. The Aral Sea is a terminal, r endrheic, sea (meaning n water flws ut f it). In 2001, the Wrld Bank funded the cnstructin f a dam, and thereby save the smaller and less plluted Nrth Aral Sea.
This shrinking f the Aral Sea became knwn as “ne f the planet’s wrst envirnmental disasters”; the decline f the nce-thriving fishing industry brings unemplyment and ecnmic hardship t the surrunding regin.
