Insecticides ( 杀 虫 剂) cntaining flupyradifurne and sulfxaflr, chemicals cnsidered harmless t bees and bumblebees when apprved, can have damaging effects n the health f hneybees. The chemicals are mre likely t make bees suffer frm diseases and shrten their lifespan. This was prven in a scientific study that was published in Science f the Ttal Envirnment. It was cnducted at Martin Luther University f Halle-Wittenberg(MLU) and the Helmhltz Centre fr Envirnmental Research (UFZ).
Fr the study, hney bees that were free frm envirnmental influences were first bred(培育) in the lab. “We wanted t cntrl every respect f the bees’ lives,” says Dr. Yahya Al Naggar, the bilgist wh led the prject at MLU and wh nw wrks at Tanta University in Egypt. All bees were given the same fd at first. They were then divided int several grups and different insecticides were added t their fd. One grup was given flupyradifurne, while anther was given sulfxaflr. Bth chemicals are apprved insecticides in Germany, althugh their use is nw limited t greenhuses.
Over a perid f ten days, the team bserved whether the insecticide s had any effect n the bees and, if s, what. They fund that the insecticides were anything but harmless: Arund half f all the bees whse diet included flupyradifurne died during the study. While sulfxaflr prduced similar effects, mre bees survived the diet.
As the study was cnducted in a lab t avid external influences, it is unclear whether the same results can be fund in nature. “The bees might be able t fully r at least partly make up fr the negative effects ——r the effects f the insecticides culd well be even greater,” cncludes Dr Tesfaye Wubet frm UFZ. With this in mind, the team calls fr the ptential effects f new insecticide sn beneficial insects t be researched better befre the insecticides are apprved.

B. The number f bees in nature will greatly drp.
C. New insecticides need mre research.
D. Insecticides shuld be prevented frm being used.
30. Which wuld be a suitable title fr the text?
