If yu use a lt f garlic and wish t cut yur preparatin time dwn, yu can pre-peel and stre yur wn in il in the refrigeratr, but the best flavr will cme frm freshly-peeled clves. Use garlic pwder, garlic salt, and garlic juice nly as a last resrt.
T peel a garlic clve, place it n a cutting bard n its side, and gently press dwn quickly with the flat side f a butcher knife. The skin shuld then easily peel ff. If yu find the skin clinging desperately t the clve, cngratulatins! Yu have fresh garlic. As garlic ages, the skin is gradually dried-up, making it easier t peel.
