Aside frm Emperr penguins, ther Antarctic specialists, like the Adélie penguin and dry sil nematdes, were als highly vulnerable. We urgently need a cmbinatin f glbal and lcal cnservatin actin t best cnserve Antarctic species. Glbal actin and glbal vices t help relieve climate change—because the biggest threat t Antarctica is cming frm utside f it. And then we need lcal actins t help prtect bidiversity against lcal threats and give them the best chance f adapting t climate changes. This will help t save ur icnic(代表性的)species like the Emperr penguins and all f Antarctica’s unique and highly adapted inhabitants. Technlgy is develping by leaps and bunds. A device as small as a smartphne nw has mre prcessing pwer than rckets t the Mn nce had. New tech brings many advantages, making ur lives easier and pening up new pprtunities. One piece f kit that's been really taking ff recently is the drne. This piltless mini aircraft, riginally develped fr phtgraphy frm abve and warfare, is nw bringing us benefits clser t hme. And writing fr BBC Future website, Harriet Cnstable describes an incredible develpment prject by the University f Suth Australia. The plan is fr drnes t eventually be able t survey ppulatins fr disease by reading the bld xygen levels f humans frm the air. They'll als be able t scan fr ther vital signs, like cughing and a high temperature.
It seems that the sky's the limit fr what drne technlgy can achieve. The nly thing that smetimes keeps it grunded is regulatin. Writing fr the BBC, Jessica Brwn says, "If ur skies are t becme as crwded as ur streets, airspace rules need updating t prevent accidents." There are als related prblems, such as nise pllutin.
12.What was the primary use f the drne?
A. Explring the Mn.B. Survey and military.C. Special delivery r express.D. Transprting gds.
13.Which can replace the underlined wrd "hub" in Paragraph 2?
A. Centre.B. Branch.C. Garage.D. Field.
14.What des Paragraph 3 imply?
A. Drnes culd take ver dctrs' duties in the future.B. Drnes can play a rle in imprving peple's health.C. Drnes can cure patients suffering frm varius diseases like malaria.D. Human beings will eventually vercme all kinds f stubbrn diseases.
15.What des the authr mean t d by quting Jessica Brwn?
A. Emphasize there is n limit fr drnes develpment.B. Ignre the disadvantages the develpment f drnes will bring.C. Urge the rules f drnes management need t be updated.D. Prve the develpment f drnes is beneficial withut harming.
