Work in groups and discuss with your partner. Which disaster do you want to write about? What advice would you give on surviving it?设计意图:引导学生谈论做一个逃生手册需要的主题和内容。2. Read the brochure “How to Survive an Earthquake” on Page 41 and complete the table.设计意图:学生通过阅读How to Survive an Earthquake总结本文的结构特点,完成表格填写任务。3. Guide Ss to learn the Sentence Builder.4. Guide Ss to learn the meaning of Imperative(s).5. Guide Ss to learn features of Imperative sentences. 6. Guide Ss to learn how to use Imperative sentences.设计意图:帮助学生总结归纳祈使句的定义、特点和用法。7. Guide Ss to edit the brochure in pairs. This helps writers edit with a fresh perspective. Then recommend the good brochures to the class to share.2. Guide Ss to make a presentation.3. Guide Ss to polish / revise their writing.设计意图:引导学生交换互判,根据评价标准,客观地评价同伴作品,为优秀作品提供展示机会。Step 5 AssignmentAfter polishing the brochure, take a picture of it and upload it online.
