Step 1 Lead in
The T can shw sme cmmn tags n daily necessities and lead Ss t find ut that mst things were made in China. The T can use the prmpt:
Lk at things that yu wear and use. What are they made f? Where were they made?
Then the T can encurage Ss t talk abut things made in China and express their pinins:
What d yu think f things made in China?
The T can set a scene and and ask Ss t brainstrm sme lcal prducts in different cuntries s that Ss’ can be mre invlved in the class and prepare well fr the fllwing reading task.

In Japan/France/Switzerland, I will buy...
Then the T can tell Ss that mst f these prducts are made in China.Things made in China have been all ver the wrld.
The T can play a vide abut a blgger’s ne-day experience in America f aviding using things made in China. After watching the vide, the Ss can exchange their feelings.
Step 2 Presentatin & Reading
Befre-reading
The T can ask Ss t talk abut the title and the picture in 3a and have a discussin. The T can use these prmpts:
1. Where is the turist?
2. Des he want t buy Chinese prducts r American prducts?
3. Is it easy fr him t buy American prducts? Why?
3a While-reading
The T make Ss read the passage quickly and find the key infrmatin t finish the task in 3a. Then the T can invite sme Ss t share answers with the class.

3b While-reading
The activity is t encurage Ss t read fr details and t express their pinins in respnse t what they have read. The T can ask Ss t read the questins first. Ss read the passage again carefully and finish the task in 3b. Then the T can invite sme Ss t share answers with the class.

The T can pint ut t Ss that the aim f this activity is t enhance their understanding f the use f prnuns. Being able t understand hw prnuns are used is an imprtant skill fr reading and writing. Since a prnun usually refers t smething that has already been mentined, t understand what a prnun stands fr , we shuld lk at the earlier part f the sentence r the sentence that cmes befre. Ss can first find the sentence with the target prnun and try analyzing the elements f the sentence and master the usage f these prnuns.
