will learn how to make inferences by using must,might,could & can’t.Let’s look at Unit 3 It must belong to Carla.◆Step 2 Presentation1.Talk about the pictures (见课件) and learn the new words and phrases.Whose...is this?It must/might/could/can’t be sb.’s.(It must/might/could/can’t belong to sb.)2.be sb.’s=belong to sb.3.Pair work 1c(1)Student B,cover the dates.Student A,ask Student B when the things in the picture in 1b were invented.Then change roles and practice again.(2)Ask three pairs to act their dialogues out in class.◆Step 3 Work on 1a1.Ask students to focus attention on the picture.Have students point to each item and say out its name.2.Ask students to pay attention to the chart with the headlines Clothing,Fun things and Kitchen things at the top.3.Get students to complete the task on their own.4.Show the correct answers on the screen.(见课件)◆Step 4 Listening 1b 1.Whose...is this?Do you know whose toy truck this is?Now please listen to the recording and find out whose these things are,and match the things with the persons while listening.2.After listening,ask some students to tell the class their answers.Check the answers by asking and answering like
