    1. Teaching key pints:
    1) Let Ss use what they learn t describe the bjects & their clrs.
    2)Learn & master letters Ss ~ Zz ,their alphabetical rder ,the crrect strke rder fr each letter, the prnunciatin & handwriting .

    A cmputer , PPT , sme real bjects with different clrs ( e.g. clr pens , rulers , bxes,etc.)
    四、Teaching prcedures , ways & time alltment :
    Ⅰ. Warming-up and revisin (5 min.)
    1. Greet the Ss. Check the hmewrk.
    2. Review the letters Aa ~ Zz . Let Ss recite the alphabets .Then let Ss write them n their exercise bks . (Attentin t crrecting sme Ss’ incrrect strke rder.)
    3. (Put sme real bjects n the teacher's desk. e.g. range, ruler, pen, key, jacket, cup)
    Ask Ss t answer the questins:
    T: What's this in English?
    Ss: It's a clr pen .
    T: What's this in English?
    Ss: It's a ruler.
    Ⅱ. Presentatin (5 min. )
    1. (Let the Ss lk at the PPT & learn the letters Ss-Zz.)
    T: What’s this?(Pint t the letter "Ss")
    Ss: It’s S.
    T:Read “Ss” after me.
    Ss: “Ss”.
    (The same with "Tt, Uu, Vv, Ww, Xx, Yy, Zz")
    Let Ss read all the letters alud, and try t remember them.
    2.(Present the new sentence patterns)
    T: What clr is it?
    Ss:(Help Ss t answer) It's red.
    T: What's this?
    Ss: It's "Ss".
    T: What clr is it?
    Ss: It's red.
    (The same with "Tt, Uu, Vv, Ww, Xx, Yy, Zz")
    3. Let Ss lk at the picture in 1a. Read the clrs n the left then read the letters. Write the letter fr each clr.
    4 . Ss write the letter next t the clrs. Then let sme Ss read their letters t check the answers.
    = 3 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT III. Listening ( 5 min. )
    1. Tell Ss t lk at the picture in 1a. Sme students are talking abut the clrs and letters.
    2. OK. Nw let's listen t the recrding first. Then repeat after the recrding.
    3. Ss listen and repeat after the recrding.
    = 4 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT IV. Pair wrk ( 10 min.)
    1. (Tell the Ss t use this & that crrectly.)
    T: Yu are the by, yur partner is the girl and practice the cnversatins in pairs.
    (Ss practice the cnversatins in pairs & then make new cnversatins.)
    2 . Ask several pairs t present their cnversatins t the class .
    S1: What's this?
    S2: It's U.
    S1: What clr is it?
    S2: It's white.
    S3: What's that?
    S4: It's T.
    S3: What clr is it?
    S4: It's black.

    = 5 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT V. Listening ( 5 min.)
    1. 2a Let Ss listen & repeat.
    2. 2b Let Ss listen and number the letters they hear [1-8]. Check the answers.
    = 6 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT VI. Writing ( 5 min.)
    2d Let Ss write the missing big letter r small letter fr each pair.
    = 7 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT VII. Summary ( 2 min.)
    Emphasize the key pints .
    = 8 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT VIII. Assignment ( 3 min.)
    Oral wrk : 1) Recite the alphabets, new wrds & cnversatins.
    2) Prepare 3a--4d .
    Written wrk :
    Hmewrk : 1) Cpy Ss--Zz 5 times.
    2) Cpy the cnversatins in 1a 3 times.
    3) Write Aa--Zz nce frm memry.
