The listening text cnsists f three shrt dialgues between a reprter and three students abut music. They ask abut the types f music the students like and why. In the interview, speakers ften use a cmmnly used talking strategy -- paraphrase. Students are expected t get insight int music.The teachers wuld inspire students t talk abut music preference.

Students’ ral expressin ability is nt gd, but their ability t acquire listening infrmatin is a little shrt, s they need t learn mre listening skills and get a lt f ral exercise. In additin, mst students in this class are nt familiar with the wrds in this unit, s sme students may feel difficult in the prcess f listening t the new wrds, and there will be sme difficulties in expressing their wn ideas.
