    This 45-minute high schl English listening lessn is designed fr students in their senir year f high schl. The main bjective is t intrduce the cncept f music preferences and prvide an pprtunity fr students t practice their listening skills. The lessn shuld be taught in English t help imprve students' listening cmprehensin and prepare them fr the graduate entrance exam.
    II. Class Time, Cntent, and Learning Objectives
    1. Sectin 1: Intrductin (5 minutes)
    - Tpic: Intrductin t Music Preferences
    - Learning Objective: Students will understand the basic cncept f music preferences and hw they differ frm individual tastes in fd, clthing, etc.
    2. Sectin 2: Listening Practice (20 minutes)
    - Tpic: Listening exercises related t music preferences
    - Learning Objective: Students will be able t understand and fllw a cnversatin r presentatin abut music preferences in English.
    3. Sectin 3: Discussin and Applicatin (10 minutes)
    - Tpic: Applying music preferences in real-life situatins
    - Learning Objective: Students will be able t discuss and share their wn music preferences and explain why they prefer certain genres r artists.

    - Understanding the difference between music preferences and ther persnal tastes
    - Using English listening skills t understand and participate in cnversatins abut music preferences
    - Applying music preferences t real-life situatins

    1. Use visual aids such as images, vides, r charts t intrduce the cncept f music preferences and illustrate key pints during the listening practice.
    2. Encurage students t ask questins and participate in discussins by using interactive tls like nline quizzes r grup wrk.
    3. Prvide pprtunities fr students t practice their listening skills by playing recrdings f different music genres r discussing current music trends.
    4. Incrprate real-life scenaris int the lessn, such as discussing favrite sngs at a party r recmmending music fr a friend's birthday playlist.
    5. Assign hmewrk tasks that invlve listening t pdcasts r watching vides related t music preferences and writing a shrt reflectin n what was learned.
    V. Learning Activities
    Prblem-Based Intrductin (5 minutes)
    1. Display a slideshw f different types f music genres, such as rck, pp, classical, jazz, etc. Ask students if they can name any f these genres and briefly describe what they are.
    2. Intrduce the cncept f music preferences by explaining that everyne has their wn unique taste in music, just as they have their wn preferences fr fd, clthes, mvies, etc.
    3. Ask students t share their wn examples f music preferences and explain why they prefer certain genres ver thers.
    Main Cntent (20 minutes)
    1. Play a recrding f a cnversatin between tw peple discussing their favrite music genres and artists. Pause the recrding at strategic pints and ask students t listen carefully and answer cmprehensin questins related t the cntent.
    2. After the listening exercise, divide students int small grups and assign each grup a specific questin related t the cnversatin. Ask each grup t discuss the questin and cme up with a list f reasns why they believe their assigned persn had a particular preference fr a particular genre r artist.
    3. Have each grup present their findings t the class and encurage ther students t ask questins r ffer additinal insights based n what they heard.
    Teacher's Rle (5 minutes)
    1. Facilitate discussin by asking pen-ended questins and encuraging students t share their pinins and insights.
    2. Address any questins r cncerns raised by students and prvide additinal clarificatin r examples as needed.
    3. Cnclude the lessn by summarizing the key pints cvered and encuraging students t cntinue explring their wn music preferences in their free time.
    Student's Rle (10 minutes)
    1. Participate in grup discussins by sharing their thughts and ideas related t the assigned questin(s).
    2. Ask clarifying questins when necessary and cntribute t the verall understanding f the tpic discussed in the lessn.
    3. Take ntes n the key pints cvered during the listening exercise and reflect n what was learned during the discussin sessin.
    Hmewrk Questins & Answers (5 minutes)
    1. Write a shrt essay (apprximately 200 wrds) abut yur wn music preferences and explain why yu prefer certain genres r artists ver thers. Be sure t use specific examples frm yur wn life t supprt yur claims.
    2. Fr hmewrk assignment #2, watch a vide r listen t a pdcast abut a musician r band that yu are unfamiliar with but are curius abut. After listening, write dwn three new things that yu learned abut the musician r band and explain why yu fund them interesting r surprising.
