    ❶I wnder what life was like here in the past.
    ❷What a difference a day makes!
    ❸We waited ver an hur fr the train because there were t many peple.
    The teacher shuld try t cultivate the students’ cnsciusness t lve life and the
    nature.

    Learn Jane's diary entries abut her vacatin.

    2.Target language:I wnder what life was like here in the past. We waited ver an hur fr the train because there were t many peple.
    Teaching Prcedures:
    Step 1 Preparatin
    1.Greetings.
    2.Intrduce what t learn in this perid,especially the articles in 2b,Jane's diary entries. Teacher begins like this:Tday we'll fcus n tw diary entries abut Jane's vacatin. Thrugh the learning yu'll knw hw t write a diary. Let's begin nw.
    Step 2 Presentatin
    1.Say: Jane went t Penang in Malaysia. Did she have a gd time? Read Jane’s diary entries abut her vacatin and answer the questins: Did Jane have a gd time n Mnday? What abut n Tuesday? After reading, ask sme students t reprt their answers.
    2.Review and discuss the questins in 2a bx with yur partner.
    3.Prject these new wrds n the screen r write them n the bard and teach the new wrds. Ask students t repeat them. And make sure everyne knws the meanings.
    4.Make students scan the articles first. Ask students t put a mark in cntents that are unfamiliar t them. Then the teacher lead students t learn these tw articles sentence by sentence.
    Step 3 Practice
    1.Make students read Jane's diary entries again. Fill in the chart in 2c.
    2.Students cmplete the cnversatin in 2d using the infrmatin in Jane's dairy entries.
    3.Chse 3 r 4 students t give their answers.
    4.Crrect the answers.
    Step 4 Prductin
    Wrk in grups and read Jane’s diary entries again. Fill in the chart. Lk at which grup is the first t finish it.
    Step 5 Prgress
    1.Ask sme grups t reprt their answers.
    2.Hmewrk.
    ①Write a diary.
    ②Finish the exercises.
    3.Teaching pstscript.
