本课为本单元的第一课时,旨在引导学生理解语篇内容,了解未来智能房屋的特征及功能,以及本篇说明文的篇章结构和文体特征,掌握与未来主题相关的词汇及常见搭配, 体会科技进步对人类文明的有利影响。首先,教师请学生思考我们的住所在过去的几十年里发生了怎样的变化,并想象未来住所可能的样子,预测课文内容;然后引导学生通过预测、略读、扫读等策略寻找文中提到的未来智能房屋的主要特征及功能,并分析文中对相关细节的描写;最后教师引导学生讨论作者对未来生活的态度。
