    Life can smetimes be difficult fr teenagers. Mst, hwever, get thrugh their teenage years with the help f their families and friends. Du Fei and Wang Le are tw typical teenagers. Du Fei is 15 years ld. Like many teenagers, he has a few habits that are nt s gd fr him. Fr example, he listens t very lud music that is bad fr his hearing.
    On the ther hand, he desn’t eat many snacks —he prefers his mther’s hme cking. But in schl he desn’t pay attentin in class, and his parents always tell him t try harder. His parents and teachers want him t change his attitude, and are happy t help him. They knw it is never t late t change bad habits. Wang Le wants t d things that mst teenagers d. Fr her, It’s imprtant t have friends, and t spend time with them. But perhaps she hangs ut with them a little t much.
    Wang Le likes t eat junk fd , and she wuld rather drink cffee and cla than water. Her parents have asked her t try t eat mre healthily, but she desn’t like t. Hwever, Wang Le’s parents trust her because she tells them her prblems. They knw she always des her best at schl, s they let her rganize her wn life. She is hardly ever stressed and she laughs a lt.

    1. Life can smetimes be difficult fr teenagers. 青少年在生活中有时会面临挫折。◉smetimes 意为“有时;偶尔”,为频度副词。常见的频度 副词还有:always(总是)、usually(通常)、ften(经 常)、seldm(很少)、never (从不)等。
    ※ He smetimes writes t me. 他偶尔给我写封信。※ Jane has wrked here fr sme time. 简在这儿工作已经有一段时间了。※ I tld yu nt t d that sme times. 我和你说过几次不要那样做。※ I saw him smetime last summer. 我去年夏天的某个时候见过他。
    2. Mst, hwever, get thrugh their teenage years with the help f their families and friends. 然而,大多数青 少年会在家人和朋友的帮助下度过青春期。 ◉hwever 在此作副词,表示转折,后面必须有逗号,but 则 不需要。※ I had invited everybdy, hwever, nly tw peple came. 每个人我都请了,却只来了两个人。
    ◉get thrugh 意为“度过;通过;做完”。※ She gt thrugh the exam finally. 她最后通过了考试。◉with 在此引导方式状语,with the help f 意为“在……的 帮助下”。※ I succeeded with the help f him. 在他的帮助下我成功了。
    3. His parents and teachers want him t change his attitude, and are happy t help him. 他的父 母和老师想让他端正学习态度,并且很乐意去帮助他。◉want sb. t d sth. 意为“想让某人做某事”。※ Mr. Green wants his sn t help with the husewrk. 格林先生想让儿子帮助做家务。◉be happy t d sth. 意为“乐意做某事”,同义短语为 be glad t d sth.。※ They are happy t be with their grandparents. 他们很乐意跟他们的祖父母在一起。
    4. They knw it is never t late t change bad habits. 他们知道改变坏习惯从来都不晚。◉”意为“太……而不能……”,表示否定意义,当 t 前面加 never、nt 等否定词时,不表示否定意义,而是加强 语气。※ The text is t difficult fr me t understand. 这篇文章太难了,我理解不了。※ One is never t ld t learn. 活到老,学到老。
    5. Wang Le likes t eat junk fd, and she wuld rather drink cffee and cla than water. 王乐喜欢吃 垃圾食品,并且与水相比,她更喜欢喝咖啡、可乐。◉wuld rather 意为“更喜欢,宁愿”,后跟动词原形,表示主观上的 选择。wuld rather 无人称变化,其否定形式是在 rather 后加 nt, 疑问形式是将wuld 提到主语前面。 wuld rather d sth. 意为“宁愿 做某事”,如果表示“与做某事比起来更愿意做某事”,则用 wuld rather d sth. than d sth.,该句中 than 后省略了 drink。※Mst teenagers wuld rather spend time with friends than stay at hme. 大多数青少年与待在家相比更喜欢和朋友们共度时光。

    (1)动词不定式:t+动词原形 不定式的否定式:在不定式符号 t 之前加 nt。

    1. 动词不定式的构成
    动词不定式没有人称和数的变化。它保留着动词的特点,可以有自己的宾语和状语。它具有名词、形容词和副词三大特征,在句中可以作主语、宾语、宾语补足语、表语、定语和状语。
    (2)不定式的时态和语态变化:
    (1) 作主语※ T keep ur envirnment clean and tidy is ur duty. 保持环境的清洁是我们的职责。(2) 作宾语※ He wants t be a scientist when he grws up. 长大后他想当一名科学家。(3) 作宾语补足语※ Jim asked me t help him with his English. 吉姆要我帮助他学英语。
    2. 动词不定式的用法
    (4) 作表语※ My wrk is t clean the rm every day. 我的工作是每天打扫这间屋子。(5) 作定语※ Have yu gt anything t d tmrrw evening?明天晚上你有事吗?※ He was the first t cme t the classrm. 他是第一个来到教室的人。注意 不定式作定语时,需放在被修饰词之后,作后置定语。(6) 作状语※ I cme t see yu. 我过来看你。(表目的)※ The apples are hard t reach. 那些苹果很难够到。(表结果)
    (1) 有些动词后面的不定式要省去 t。 这样的动词可归纳为: 一感(feel),二听(hear、listen t),三让(let、make、 have),四看(see、watch、lk at、ntice)。注意:当它们用于被动结构时,t 必须保留(let 除外)。※ The teacher made them g ut f the classrm. →They were made t g ut f the classrm by the teacher. 老师让他们离开教室。(2) 动词 help 后面接不定式作宾语补足语,t 可有可无。※ Will yu please help me (t)find my pen? 请帮我找找我的钢笔,好吗?
    3. 动词不定式的省略
    (3) 在 but、except 等表示“除了……”之意的介词前,若有动词 d 的某种形式,介词后作宾语的不定式常省略 t。※ He des everything except g t schl. 他怎么也不去上学。
