After winning prizes in the Beijing Winter Olympics, snwbarder Su Yiming gt anther surprise.
On Feb 24, Su gt a reply back frm his letter t Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In the letter, Xi extended cngratulatins t Su and ther athletes in ice and snw sprts fr their utstanding perfrmances at the Beijing Winter Olympics and put frward expectatins fr them.
Su said in his letter that he was brn in a great cuntry and raised in the best times, and he felt very lucky t have realized his dream thrugh hard wrk. Meanwhile, Su als expressed his reslve(决心) t cntinue wrking hard and serving the mtherland.

China's Lng March 8 rcket set a new recrd at the Wenchang Space Launch Center in Hainan n Feb 27. It's the first time the rcket has lifted ff with 22 satellites, which were later released in space.
The technlgy behind a single rcket lifting ff with multiple satellites inside is cmplex, as all the satellites must be stacked(堆放)suitably apart inside, like "passengers" in a crwded vehicle. The design f the rcket must be such that the satellites inside d nt tuch r blck each ther in the release prcess.
Als, when the rcket reaches its release pint,the drs must pen t let the satellites emerge.The timing is cntrlled s that the satellites have enugh time and d nt cllide(碰撞）with each ther. On Feb 27, the 22 satellites were released in 12 rws.
In 1981, China sent three satellites int rbit with ne single rcket launch, thus becming the third cuntry in the wrld t have mastered the technlgy. Even tday, nly five cuntries and the Eurpean Space Agency have the technlgy.
Mre satellites are needed t cater t the demand f varius sectrs (领域), frm remte cmmunicatin t weather frecasting, even autmat-ed(自动化的）driving.
Starlink, which is part f billinaire Eln Musk's Space X prject, plans t launch 40,000 satellites.Sme f the satellites launched by Space X are even smaller than a cffee mug(马克杯）r bk,but they still need a rcket t prpel(推进)them int space first.
The mre satellites China can send with a single rcket launch, the mre cmpetitive it will be. This means China still has a lng way t g in develping "single rcket, multiple satellite" technlgy.
In January 2021, a Space X Falcn 9 rcket carried 143 satellites int rbit, setting a new wrld recrd fr the mst satellites launched by a single rcket.
