Peple wh give live lnger, studies have shwn. Nw, a new study by the University f Michigan shws that why peple vlunteer—nt whether they vlunteer—is what really cunts.

Sme grups emphasize the health benefits received thrugh vlunteering," Knrath added. "Of curse, it's reasnable fr vlunteers t expect benefits fr themselves. But the ptential health benefits f vlunteering are significantly reduced if self-benefit becmes a persn's main mtive."

    B. Hw ften we vlunteer makes a difference.
    C. Whether we vlunteer decides ur well-being.
    D. Why we vlunteer has an impact n ur health.
    33. Hw did the researchers d the study?
    A. By analyzing statistics. B. By ding lab experiments.
    C. By gruping participants randmly. D. By rating vlunteers' perfrmances.
    34. Which f the fllwing mtives will prbably cntribute t a lnger life?

It was nly when visiting the classrms and passages f mainland universities with his tw teenage daughters that he suddenly felt himself at hme amng the bks and atmsphere f learning." 故选 A。
同时根据文章第五段中“he applied t a university in Palma t study psychlgy”可知, Pep 认为自己的人生角色是心理学家。
根据文章第五段中"what the radi presenter said came back t him…he applied t a university in Palma t study psychlgy and, aged 46, was accepted"可知, 电台主持人对他的评价促使他决定在46岁时申请到大学攻读心理学。故选B。
that指刚提到的事情或已经完成的事情, 所以结合前文的“adults with mbility difficulties tk 39% fewer trips than thse with n disability in 2017”可知“that”指的是“有行动困难的人旅行更少”。故选 C。
根据文章第四段Ceylan说的"cnnecting the stick t the Internet f Things and smart city slutins makes it user-friendly"可知, 文章是在借用盲人Ceylan的话来说明WeWalk智能拐杖所起到的作用。故选A。
文章第五段中 Anna Lawsn 提到“they are very expensive”, 第六段中Bryan Matthews也提到对成本的担忧, 所以"WeWalk"智能拐杖的一个缺点是价格高昂。故选D。
    D
Nw. , a new study by the University f Michigan shws that why peple vlunteer—nt whether they vlunteer—is what really cunts." They further fund that hw much peple vlunteered mattered as well—nly 1.8 percent f regular vlunteers died, cmpared with 2.5 percent f ccasinal vlunteers."
第二段一开始提到“Fr the study, Knrath and clleagues analyzed data cllected in 2008 and 2012 aiming at the same randm samples f 3,376 peple.”, 接着又列举了几个数值“2.3 percent”“4.3 percent”“1.8 percent” “2.5 percent”来进一步说明他们的研究发现。 故选A。
