Mari, yu used t be shrt, didn't yu? 马里奥,你过去很矮,不是吗?。要点精析 1该句是一个反意疑问句。反意疑问句由两部分组成:前一部分是陈述句,后部分是简短的附加疑问句。陈述句部分若是肯定形式,附加疑问部分就用否定形式;陈述句部分若是否定形式,附加疑问部分就用肯定形式,即“前肯后否,前否后肯”。例:Mary is verylazy,isn't she?玛丽很懒,不是吗?They were nt late fr the meeting, were they?他们开会没有迟到,是吗? 对反意疑问句的回答,不管问题的提法如何,如果事实是肯定的,就要用yes;如果事实是否定的,就要用n;如果反意疑问的陈述句部分含有否定意义的词(n,never,nthing,few,hardlylittle等)附加疑问部分要用肯定形式例: There is little water in the glass, is there? 玻璃杯里几乎没有水,是吗?

    要点精析 2此句为现在完成时的句子。现在完成时常与 since引导的以某一时间为起点的时间状语或 fr引导的一段时间连用,谓语动词要用延续性动词例:She has lived in Beijing since 1998.她从1998年起就住在北京We have knwn each ther fr five years.我们已经认识彼此5年了。

    Grammar Fcus
    used t是一个固定结构,它的意思是“过去经常、以前常常”,它的后面用动词原形,它表示过去存在某种状态或者过去的某种经常性、习惯性的行为或者动作,并意味着这种动作目前已经不存在,所以它只能用一般过去时,不能用现在时态。
    used t + d sth.“过去常常”表示过去习惯性的动作或状态,但如今已不存在。
    肯定句式:主语+ used t +动词原形...例如:I used t g t the cinema, but I never have time nw.

    主语+used t+动词原形 I used t smke a lt. She used t wrk in a shp. Tm used t be a pliceman. He used t watch a lt f TV. She used t be married.
    否定句式:A)主语+did nt use t +动词原形
    He did nt use t swim in this river, but he swims here nw.
    B)主语+used nt t +动词原形 第一种否定句型,就是把used当作实义动词来看,所以变否定句要用助动词did;第二种否定句是把used当作情态动词,变否定句直接在used后面加nt即可,used nt 可以缩写成usedn’t或usen’t。美式英语通常用A种形式,英式英语常用B种形式。例如: Yu didn't use t drink.

    疑问句:A) Did +主语 +use t +动词原形...?B) Used +主语+ t +动词原形...?美式英语通常用A种形式,英式英语用B种形式。例如: Did yu use t g swimming in the river when yu were yung?

    (四) used t 的状语可以用副词always,ften,smetimes等,但是仍然是过去的习惯,不是指现在的习惯,所以不能用一般现在时。
    例如:He always used t be late fr class. 他过去常常上课迟到。
    (五) used t可以用在there be结构中表示“过去经常有”的意思。There used t be

    (六) used t 用于省略句时,肯定式保留 t,否定式不保留t。
    例如:    —Used yu t play basketball? ——你过去常打篮球吗?    —Yes, I used t. (N, I usedn't.)
    wuld/used t相同点wuld与used t都可用来表示过去经常性或习惯性的动作,常常可以换用。如:   1. When we were bys we used t/wuld g swimming every summer.   小时候,每到夏天我们都要去游泳。   2. He used t/wuld spend every penny he earned n bks.  过去,他通常把挣来的钱全花在买书上。
    wuld与used t的区别主要有以下几点:  a. used t可指过去的状态或情况,wuld则不能。如:   Schl children used t knw the stry f hw Abraham Lincln walked five miles t return a penny he'd vercharged a custmer. (不能用wuld)   Yet, he cannt but remember as it used t be. (不能用wuld).  
    b. wuld表示反复发生的动作。如果某一动 作没有反复性,就不能用 wuld,只能用 used t。例如:   And frm that day n, as sn as the table was cleared and the dishes were gne, Mtherwuld disappear int her sewing rm t practice.  (具有反复性)   I used t live in Beijing. (没有反复性) 
    c. used t表示过去经常性或习惯性的动作 或状态现在已经结束,wuld则表示有 可能再发生。如:   Peple used t believe that the earth was flat. (现在已不再这样认为)   He wuld g t the park as sn as he was free. (现在有可能再去)
