一般需要重读的词(实词/关键词):动词、名词、形容词、副词、数词、疑问词和感叹词等。一般不需要重读的词(虚词/非关键词):助动词、情态动词、冠词、介词、连词、人称代词等。(1)实词不重读的特殊情况。①实词第二次出现:He thinks f that as a child thinks.②一个名词被第二个名词修饰:I met her at the railway statin.③代替词:—Which bk d yu want? —The small ne.④感叹句中的 what 和hw:What a gd day it is! Hw beautiful she is!⑤street 在专有名词中:Wangfujing Street ⑥this在这些短语中:this mrning/afternn/evening
(2)虚词重读的特殊情况。①情态动词、助动词和系动词be在句首、句尾和表示否定时:—D yu like it? —Yes, I d. —Are yu a dctr? —Yes, I am. —Can yu help me? —Yes, I can. I dn’t like yu. He isn’t a wrker.②情态动词表示可能、惊奇和肯定时:They may cme this evening. Can it be five already? He must be in the rm.③介词在句首和句尾:In the bx, he fund a letter. He is the persn I talked with.④引导复合句的连词在句首:If yu wish, I’ll visit yu. When he cmes, I’ll tell him.⑤反身代词表示强调:He culdn’t cme himself.
