    过去分词可置于 后作 语,用来表示主语的性质、特征或 。其前的系动词包括be动词、感官动词get, feel, remain, seem, lk, becme等多种形式。

    用法1.过去分词可放在连系动词be,get,feel,remain,seem,lk, becme等之后作表语,表示主语所处的状态, 相当于一个形容词。Tm was astnished t see a snake mving acrss the flr. 汤姆很惊讶地看到一条蛇正爬过地板。Finally the baby felt tired f playing with thse tys. 终于婴儿厌倦了玩那些玩具。
    amused (愉快的);astnished (吃惊的) ; delighted (高兴的)disappinted (失望的);wrried (担忧的); interested (感兴趣的);pleased (高兴的);satisfied (满意的); surprised (吃惊的)brken (碎了的);clsed (关闭的); crwded (拥挤的);lst (丢失的); experienced (有经验的); gne (遗失的); tired (疲劳的); married (已婚的);knwn (著名的) 等等
    V-ed作表语,强调主语的特点或状态,相当于形容词;被动语态中,句子主语是动作的承受者,后面常跟by。 Eg:The library is nw clsed.(状态) 图书馆现在关闭了。The cup was brken by my little sister yesterday.(动作)昨天我妹妹把杯子打碎了。
    用法2.V-ed作表语,构成的系表结构与被动语态的区别:
    有些过去分词(短语)源于系表结构,作状语时不表动作而表状态。

    用法3.V-ed与V-ing作表语的区别:We are ____________(interest) in the film.The film is ____________ (interest) t us. Michelle sunded __________(excite) t hear the news.The news sunded __________(excite).
    过去分词作表语多表示人自身的感受或事物自身的状态,常译作“感到……的”;现在分词多表示事物具有的特性,常译作“令人……的”。

    过去分词作状语(修饰动词)时, 与主语之间存在着动宾关系。过去分词作状语可表时间、原因、条件、方式、伴随、让步等情况。
    1.过去分词作时间状语过去分词作时间状语时,相当于时间状语从句。可在过去分词前加上连词“when, while, until”等,使其时间意义更明确。Lked at frm a distance, the painting seems much mre beautiful.→When it is lked at frm a distance, the painting seems much mre beautiful.
    When water is heated, water turns int steam.
    = heated, water turns int steam.
    2.过去分词作原因状语过去分词作原因状语时,可转换为由since, because或as引导的原因状语从句,这类状语多放在句子的前半部分。Wrried abut the speech cmpetitin, I was unsettled these days.→Because I was wrried abut the speech cmpetitin, I was unsettled these days.
    Because he was exhausted, he fell fast asleep.
    = exhausted, he fell fast asleep.
    3.过去分词作条件状语过去分词作条件状语时,可转换为if, nce或unless等引导的条件状语从句。Given a few minutes, I’ll finish the task.→If I am given a few minutes, I’ll finish the task.
    If I am given a time machine , I will pay a visit t the future.
    = given a time machine, I will pay a visit t the future.
    4.过去分词作让步状语过去分词作让步状语时,相当于一个以thugh/althugh引导的让步状语从句。Invited by him, I wn’t take part in the party.→Thugh I was invited by him, I wn’t take part in the party.
    Althugh he was laughed at by thers, he still smiles at life.
    = laughed at by thers, he still smiles at life.
    5.过去分词作方式/伴随状语过去分词作方式或伴随状语时,通常不能转换为状语从句,但可用并列分句代替。The patient gt ff the bed, supprted by the nurse.→The patient gt ff the bed, and he was supprted by the nurse.
    The girl left, and she was fllwed by a little dg.
    = The girl left, fllwed by a little dg.
    过去分词作方式或伴随状语
    过去分词作状语的条件:
    过去分词逻辑主语与句子主语一致;过去分词和逻辑主语是被动的关系(有时候固定搭配不表被动,表主语的状态).
    Eg: Dressed in white, she lks mre beautiful.
    常见的固定搭配: be lst (迷路); be lst in (沉迷); be seated (坐); be brn (出生于); be dressed in (穿着);be interested in(感兴趣); be tired f (厌烦);be wrried abut (担心); be absrbed in…
    判断出所给动词在句中作非谓语;找出所给动词的逻辑主语;考虑逻辑主语和所给词的关系,如果是主动关系,用ding;如果是被动关系,用dne

    A little girl called the little mermaid entertained herself, dancing and singing. Accmpanied by a shrimp, she felt excited. Back t the sea, in rder t live with the prince, the little mermaid turned t the sea witch fr help.

    The sea witch gave her a bttle f pisn and warned that unless lved and married by the prince, she wuld die sn if he married anther girl. Having drunk the pisn, the little mermaid had tw beautiful legs but lst her beautiful vice. Althugh attracted by her beauty and dance, the prince married anther girl cnsidered as his true savir. Finally, the little mermaid was s sad that she threw herself int the sea and turned int fam (泡沫).
