在复合句中充当宾语的从句叫宾语从句,就是用一个句子来构成主句的宾语。看上表格:
宾语从句的用法,要从概念、引导词、主句从句时态以及宾语从句的语序这几个方面探究。
语法重点 :本单元主要学习由that, whether / if引导的宾语从句。
定义:在句子中起宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句。

三要素:1.引导词(连接词):that, if, whether2.时态:当主句用一般过去时时态时,宾语从句要用过去的某种时态。3.语序:宾语从句用陈述句语序,即 “主语+谓语”。e.g. He asked me where my schl was. I didn’t knw wh she was
that(陈述句)if/whether(一般疑问句)wh-(特殊疑问句)
主现从随便(主句用一般现在时,从句任意时态)主过从必过(主语一般过去时,从句用相应的过去时态)客观事实永不变(从句表示客观真理、自然现象、公式 定理,名言警句时,用一般现在时)
连接词之后用陈述语序(主语+谓语)
一、由that引导的宾语从句
当宾语从句具有陈述意义时,用 that引导。that 在句中无词汇意义,在从句中不充当成分,在口语当中往往省略。
I think (that) math is difficult.She said (that) she wuld leave a nte n the desk.
连词that不能省略的几种情况:1. 从句的主语是that。如: He says that that is a real king’s hat. 他说那是一个真的王冠。
下列句子合成一个宾语从句:1. She can swim. We knw _____ _____________.She will cme back in tw weeks I hear _____ __________________________. 我听说她两周后会回来。3. He wrks very hard. D yu knw ______ __________________? 你知道他学习很努力吗?

当宾语从句具有疑问意义时,可用if或whether引导。它们在句子中的意思是是否, 不能省略。
二、由if / whether引导的宾语从句
Ⅰ. if和whether引导宾语从句时,作“是否”讲,一般情况下,二者没有区别,可以换用。但if常用于口语中,whether比较正式。
Millie asked if/whether he liked this sweater. 米莉问他是否喜欢这件羊毛衫.
Ⅱ. 由于if和whether连接的是一般疑问句,因此要注意把从句语序改为陈述句语序。
Des Mr Zha live in Rm 208? Culd yu tell me? →Culd yu tell me if/whether Mr Zha lives in Rm 208?
Ⅲ. if和whether的区别
二者在下列几种情况下不能换用:1. 宾语从句与r nt直接连用时,应用whether,不能用if。
I dn’t knw whether r nt he will cme tmrrw. 我不知道他明天是否来。
2. 与动词不定式连用时,只能用whether。
She can’t decide whether t g t America. 她不能决定是否去美国。
3.在介词后通常用whether

当宾语从句是特殊疑问意义时,用 特殊疑问词引导,不省略。

三、由特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句

1.当主句是一般现在的时候,宾语从句根据句子的需要可以使用任何时态。

2.当主句是一般过去时的时候,宾语从句必须运用相应的过去的某一种时态,从而达到主句和从句的相互一致。(呼应性原则)
3.当宾语从句说明的是客观存在的事实或者是客观存在的真理时,就不用受到主句时态的限制,仍是用一般现在时态。(特殊性原则)

宾语从句的时态一般受主句时态的影响。当主句是一般现在时或一般将来时,宾语从句可以根据具体情况用适当的时态;当主句是一般过去时,从句要用相应的过去时。

What/Hw 引导的感叹句
感叹句是表示赞美、惊叹、喜悦等强烈感情的句子。通常由what, hw引导。
句子都带有感叹号,表示赞叹、惊异等强烈感情。
语法重点 :what, hw引导的感叹句。
表示喜怒哀乐等强烈感情的句子叫感叹句。感叹句句末通常用感叹号,读时一般用降调。英语感叹句常用"what"和"hw"引导,"what"和"hw"与所修饰的词置于句首,其它部分用陈述句语序。◆What开头的感叹句 1.What + a / an +adj.+可数名词单数+主语+谓语+其他成分!例如: What a strng by he is!他是多么壮的一个小伙子啊! What an hnest girl Mary is!玛丽是一个多么诚实的小女孩啊!
2.What +adj.+可数名词复数/不可数名词+主语+谓语+其他成分! What brave sldiers they are! 这些士兵们真勇敢啊! What fine weather it is tday! 今天的天气真不错啊!
what +名词短语(形容词+名词),单数可数名词前带a/an,复数和不可数名词不带。错误:What a fine weather! weather为不可数名词,前不带a.正确: What fine weather!/What a fine day!
◆Hw 开头的感叹句1.Hw + adj.+ a / an +名词+主语+谓语+其他成分!例如: Hw exciting a ftball match it is! 多么振奋人心的一场球赛啊!Hw kind an ld man he is! 他是一位多么善良的老人啊!2.Hw + adj./adv.+ 主语+谓语+其他成分!例如: Hw tall Ya Ming is! 姚明真高啊! Hw fast the dragnfly flies! 蜻蜓飞得真快啊!
1)在hw引导的感叹句中,句中的主语和谓语可以省略:Hw fast! 多快呀!Hw nice! 多好呀!Hw beautiful! 多美呀!
2)在感叹句中,What a / an 常用来修饰单数可数名词,若其前面的形容词为元音开头,则用 an。what 是用来修饰复数可数名词和不可数名词。但有些不可数名词,如 rain, surprise, breakfast, lunch 等,当前面有形容词修饰,使抽象名词具体化时,则要用 what a / an,What a heavy rain it is! 多大的一场雨啊!What a great surprise it is! 这多么令人惊奇啊!What a rich breakfast it is! 多么丰盛的一顿早餐啊!
