When we use a cnditinal sentence t talk abut smething that will certainly happen, bth verbs shuld be in (the simple present tense/the simple future tense).

如何使用if ... nt和unless
unless作“除非”解时相当于if ... nt，其引导的条件状语从句与if引导的条件状语从句用法一样，unless与if ... nt 常常可以互换使用。例如：如果你不努力学习，你就会考试不及格。If yu dn’t study hard, yu will nt pass the exam.= Unless yu study hard, yu will nt pass the exam.如果你不努力工作，你就不会得到高薪。If yu dn’t wrk hard, yu will nt get high salary.= Unless yu wrk hard, yu will nt get high salary.
B if … nt and unless
The wrd unless can mean if ... nt. Fr example, the tw sentences belw have the same meaning:
