    Ten years ag, I set ut t examine luck. I wanted t knw why sme peple were always in the right place at the right time, while thers cnsistently experienced ill frtune. I placed advertisements in natinal newspapers asking fr peple wh felt cnsistently lucky r unlucky. Hundreds f extrardinary men and wmen vlunteered fr my research.
