The T can guide Ss t brainstrm the kinds f music s that Ss can be mre invlved in the class and their prir knwledge can be activated.

T set the scene fr activity 1a, the T may want t draw Ss’ attentin t the picture, encurage them t fcus n what the peple are saying and t speculate n what these peple might have been ding based n what is in the picture. Then the T can invite Ss t share with the class the sentences they have written.

Befre listening, the T shuld make sure that Ss understand the requirement f the task and the meaning f these sentences in 1b.
While listening, the T can play the recrding withut stp fr the first time and Ss finish the task in 1b. This step aims t develp Ss’ skills f grasping the target infrmatin. Then the T can play a secnd time t check Ss’ answers. This time, the T can stp at the key pint and check Ss’ answers by asking them t say the full sentences.

prefer v. 更喜欢 相当 ,其过去式和过去分词均为preferred,现在分词为preferring。常见用法有:
① prefer sth. 更喜欢某物
② prefer t d sth. 更喜欢做某事
③ prefer+(ding) A + t (ding) B 比起(做)B事更喜欢(做)A事
④ prefer t d sth.+rather than d sth.
alng with 随着;和……一起 作“和……一起”讲时,相当于tgether with。
注意:
当主语后面紧跟由with, alng with, tgether with等引出的短语时,谓语动词的数要与主语保持一致。
