Free Talk
Create a cntext fr Ss and ask them t answer the questins:
Yur pen pal is cming t China. He is wrried abut the custms in China. What is he suppsed t d? What isn’t he suppsed t d? Wuld yu please give him sme advice?
Tell Ss that they answer the questins using the fllwing structures:

In grups f fur r five, get Ss t discuss what they wuld need t tell their pen pal in rder fr him / her t feel cmfrtable in their hme. Tell Ss this is a list that they will be giving t their pen pal s they shuld be mindful abut wrds they use t cnvey the severity f what shuld r shuld nt be dne.
(Tip: Make sure that Ss discuss this and have reasns why they chse certain wrds. Get grups t share their discussins with the rest f the class.)
