Ask Ss t clse their textbks and just listen and take ntes when the recrding is being played. Once the cnversatin has been played, ask Ss t wrk n this activity in pairs. D they bth agree n the answers? If nt, why? Get them t lk at their ntes and decide whether the questin is referring t smething specific r smething inferred frm what was said.

In their pairs, get Ss t rle-play the cnversatin in the textbk. Make sure that they are reading the parts with the crrect intnatin and expressin. Once they have dne that, ask them t rewrite parts f the cnversatin using their wn examples, i.e. which teachers will they miss the mst. They shuld als rewrite the reasns why they will miss thse teachers. Get Ss t rle-play their rewritten cnversatins in frnt f the class.
Let Ss see the chart n PPT P18 and ask them t cmplete the chart based n the cnversatin.
