friends, ”while thers think, “I,m intrverted; I prefer wrking alne, and maybe I,ll be a writer smeday. ”They believe knwing their type can help them make quicker chices abut activities, careers, and life paths.
Hwever, there are sme prblems with the test. Sme get different results when they retake it, and sme find it hard t answer certain questins. Fr example, “I like watching TV alne, but I als enjy hanging ut with friends. Am Ian‘I, persn r an‘E, persn? ”
When yu take a persnality test, yu may think, “Oh, that,s me. ”That,s because the descriptins are generic. They can be used t describe many peple. Research has fund that ver 50% f peple gt a different scre when they retk the MBTI test just five weeks later. Persnalities can change with time, and they are nt black-r-white, scientists say. Yu may be intrverted nw but becme extrverted when yu get lder. Or, yu can be bth an“I”persn and an“E”persn. Dn,t label(贴标签) yurself! Studies have als shwn that the test is nt real at telling peple,s success in different jbs. S, dn,t take it t seriusly.

Gvernments arund the wrld are pushing fr an end t plastic bags. Mre and mre businesses are changing t paper prducts. Using paper is thught t be better than plastic. Hwever, it is harmful t the envirnment, t.
Firstly, paper bags are made frm trees. Trees, as yu knw, are gd fr
the envirnment. They can slw dwn climate change. An increase in the use f paper bags can cause mre defrestatin(毁林).
Secndly, the prductin f paper things requires mre energy and water. Abut10 percent mre energy and fur times as much water are used t prduce a paper bag than a plastic ne. Yu might say that we can use recycled paper t save that energy and water. This seems t be a gd idea. Hwever, it takes even mre energy and water t g thrugh the recycling prcess than t make a new paper bag. Prducts made frm recycled paper are als ften shrt-lived.
Furthermre, paper prducts are heavier than plastic nes. That means they require mre fuel t transprt. Seven trucks are needed t transprt tw millin paper bags, while nly ne truck is needed t transprt the same number f plastic bags. The increased weight als leads t a larger amunt f waste nce the bags are thrwn away.
S, paper prducts are actually a lse-lse result fr bth the envirnment and businesses. They are mre expensive than plastic prducts. A paper straw csts abut5 t 12 cents, while a plastic ne usually csts nly abut2 cents.
In my pinin, the mst envirnment-friendly way is t avid single-use things altgether. Prducts like glass water bttles and steel straws can be used ver and ver again. They are much better than either paper prducts r plastic prducts. By increasing the use f these items, yu can greatly reduce yur thrw away waste and truly make ur earth a greener place!
    ( )38. What des the underlined wrd“it”in Paragraph 1 refer t?
    A. Using glass bttles. B. Using plastic bags.
    C. Using paper prducts. D. Using single-use things. ( )39. What des the writer think f the recycled paper?
    A. It saves energy and water.
    B. It seems nt t be a gd idea.
    C. It is better than single-use paper.
    D. It,s easy t make by recycling prcess.
( )40. What is the writer,s main purpse f writing this passage?
    A. T intrduce the disadvantages f paper prducts.
    B. T call n peple t use prducts in an envirnment-friendly way.
    C. T cmpare paper prducts with plastic prducts.
    D. T explain why paper prducts are bad fr the envirnment.
( )41. Which f the fllwing shws the structure f the passage? (P=Paragraph)
