    “A Histry f the Wrld in 100 Things”, an exhibitin abut rare and ancient things frm the wrld, has made it a success.
    The British Museum says it wns at least 8 millin histrical things. But why chse these 100 things t tell stries f ur wrld's histry?
    It all started with a challenge(挑战).
    Neil MacGregr, wh was nce the directr f the British Museum, was asked by BBC t chse 100 things frm the museum's huge cllectin. The things had t include things frm the beginning f human histry abut 2 millin years ag t the present day.
    MacGregr accepted, and tk fur years t chse each thing himself. In 2010, MacGregr appeared n BBC radi, giving a detailed(详细的) explanatin f each thing. The shw was a big hit and all these 100 things were shwn in the British Museum. A bk with phts f each thing sn fllwed.
