限制性定语从句的补充知识
1.正式英语中,介词可置于从句之首,whm或which之前。例:Great changed have taken place in the city in which he lives. He asked a questin t which there was n answer.
注意:介词不可置于wh或that之前.
2.定语从句的谓语如果是以介词结尾的动词短语,则不可把介词移至句首。例:He received the email that he was lking frward t. They are the ld peple wh he is lking after.
常见的动词短语有:lk fr、 take care f、care fr、see t等.
3.way作先行词时,定语从句引导词常为in which、that或省略.例:Treat thers in the way in which/(that) yu want t be treated. I dn’t like the way in which/(that) yu speak t yur father.
注意:I dn’t like the way (that) yu put frward in the meeting.
4.定语从句中的主谓一致.例:He is the nly ne f the students that has gt very gd marks in the match.He is ne f the students that have gt very gd marks in the match.
当ne f前有the nly、the very修饰时,谓语用单数。
单句填空:The film _____ which he is speaking is t be shwn next week.I dn’t like the way _____________ he slved the prblem.It is ne f the bks that ______(have) been translated int English.
