    Learning aims:
    At the end f the class, yu will be able t:
    summarize the reasns fr animal extinctin by reading and listening.

    Learning prcedure:
    Step 1: Lead-in
    Watch a vide and get t knw the tpic f animal extinctin.
    Step 2: Reading fr infrmatin
    Use the scanning skill t read the text and then answer the questins:
    When and why did dinsaurs disappear accrding t the text?
    What ther pssible reasns can yu think f ?
    Step 3: Listening fr gist
    Befre listening t the stry, predict the gist by viewing the picture f the dd. While listening, check the predictin and take ntes. After listening, answer the questins:
    1.What is the stry abut?
    2.Why des the dd believe Man?
    3.Wh killed the dd?
    Step 4: Viewing and speaking
    Watch a vide, wrk in pairs t talk abut the endangered animals in the vide and why they are endangered.
    Step 5: Discussin and presentatin
    Grup wrk: First chse ne endangered animal that yu want t help, discuss in grups why and hw t save it.
    1. Write a title r make a slgan.
    2. Write the name f yur species and why it is endangered.
    3. Draw a pwerful picture t attract attentin.
    4. Tell the readers what yu want them t think and d.
    Useful expressins:
    disappear; die ut; endangered; destryedhabitats; extinct; lack f fd; reserve; be killed fr... ; ;
    t help/save...; s that...
    t teach them a lessn; t punish
    Secnd, gather all the ideas and make a presentatin abut wildlife prtectin, either making a speech r designing a pster.
