    过去分词作表语时, 与谓语动词构成_____结构,表示主语的性质、特征或______。其前的系动词包括be动词、感官动词等多种形式。
    · Everyne present is very inspired at his speech. 听了他的发言,在场的所有人都很振奋。· Yu lked frightened. 你看起来很害怕。· He became interested in tw theries. 他对两种理论产生了兴趣。
    · The cup is brken. 茶杯碎了。
    1. 及物动词的过去分词作表语,与句子主语是被动关系,表示主语的状态,既表示被动,又表示完成。
    · He is retired. 他已退休。
    2. 不及物动词的过去分词作表语,与句子主语是主动关系,表示主语的状态,只表示动作的完成。
    · The city is surrunded n three sides by muntains.这座城市三面环山。
    3.有些过去分词作表语时,构成的谓语很接近被动结构。
    (1) The cup was brken by my little sister yesterday. 茶杯是昨天我妹妹打碎的。 (2) The library is nw clsed. 图书馆关门了。
    【注意】过去分词作表语与被动语态的区别:过去分词作表语,主要是表示主语的状态,而被动语态则表示动作。
    (3) The bk is interesting and I’m interested in it. 这本书很有趣,我对它很感兴趣。
    【注意】过去分词表示被动或完成, -ing 形式表示主动或进行。有些动词如 interest, bre, wrry, surprise, frighten 等通常用其-ing形式表示人 / 物给人带来的感受,用过去分词形式表示人的感受。
    过去分词作状语时,过去分词表示被动完成的动作,与主句主语之间是逻辑上的动宾关系。
    例1:Given mre attentin, the tree can grw better.
    如果多加注意,这棵树会长得更好。
    例2:Guided by these principles, they went n with the wrk.
    在这些方针的指导下,他们继续进行这项工作。
    例:Once published, his wrks became famus fr the absence f rhyme at the end f each line.
    1. 时间状语过去分词作状语,可以表示时间、原因、条件、让步、方式或伴随情况等,相当于一个状语从句。

    例:Given mre time, we will d better.
    If we are given mre time, we will d better.

    例:The ld man walked in the park, supprted by his wife.
    The ld man walked in the park and was supprted by his wife.
    例:He went ut, shutting the dr behind him. 他出去后随手关上了门。
    现在分词与过去分词作状语的区别:
    ① 现在分词作状语时,现在分词所表示的动作与句子主语之间构成逻辑上的主谓关系。
    he 是 shut 动作的发出者
    例:Given mre encuragement, the by culd have behaved better. 如果多给这个男孩一些鼓励,他本能表现得更好。
    ② 过去分词作状语时,过去分词所表示的动作与句子主语之间构成逻辑上的动宾关系。
    the by与give是动宾关系
    ① 过去分词所表示的动作发生在谓语动作之前,或表示“一种状态”。
    例1:Written in French, the letter cannt be understd. 这封信是用法语写的,很难理解。
    例2:Built in 1910, the museum is almst 100 years ld.该博物馆建于1910年,几乎有100年的历史。
    ② 现在分词表示的动作与谓语动作同时发生或在说话时正在进行。
    例1:I std there, waiting fr her. 我站在那儿等她。例2:Walking alng the street, I met Mary. 在街上走的时候,我遇到了玛丽。
